Can it find every plugin?
It finds plugins that load files or leave markers on the public homepage. Back-end-only plugins (backups, security scanners) are invisible from outside.
Why does it show a strange theme name?
Some sites rename their theme folder or use a custom-built theme. The detector shows whatever name the theme’s own style.css declares.
Is it legal to check another site?
Yes — it only reads the same public HTML and files your browser downloads when you visit the page.
