These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of mbilalhaider.com and to the website design, development, maintenance, SEO and related services provided by M. Bilal Haider (“I”, “me”, “my”). By using this website or hiring me, you (“you”, “the client”) agree to these terms.
Services
I provide WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce website design and development, redesigns, website fixes, hacked site and malware removal, speed optimisation, SEO and ongoing maintenance. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price for each project are agreed in writing (by email, WhatsApp or a freelance platform) before work starts. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
Quotes and payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Projects usually start after an upfront deposit (typically 50%), with the balance due before the website goes live or the final files are handed over. Small fixes and maintenance may be billed in full upfront.
- Payments made through a freelance platform (such as Upwork or Fiverr) follow that platform’s terms.
- Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, premium plugins, themes, stock images and API usage are paid by the client unless included in the quote.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide content (text, images, logos), access details and feedback on time, and you confirm that you have the right to use any material you supply. Delays in content or feedback may move the delivery date. Please keep your own backups of your website before work starts; I take a backup before major changes but cannot guarantee recovery of data that was not backed up.
Revisions and approval
Each project includes the number of revision rounds stated in the quote. Additional revisions or changes after approval may be charged. A project is considered approved when you confirm it, when the site goes live, or 14 days after delivery without a reported issue.
Ownership and licences
After full payment, you own the final website design and the content created specifically for you. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts and libraries remain the property of their authors and are used under their own licences. I may show the finished project (screenshots and a link) in my portfolio unless you ask me not to in writing.
Results and guarantees
I work to professional standards, but I cannot guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, sales or leads, because these depend on factors outside my control such as search engine algorithms, competition and your market. Malware removal includes cleaning and hardening; I cannot guarantee that a site will never be attacked again, especially if updates, passwords or hosting are not maintained.
Refunds and cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. Work completed up to the cancellation date is payable. Deposits cover time already scheduled and work started, and are refundable only for work not yet begun. Refunds through freelance platforms follow the platform’s rules.
Free tools and website content
The free tools, audits, health checks and articles on this website are provided “as is” for general information. They are not a substitute for a full professional review. You use them at your own risk, and you must only test websites you own or are allowed to test.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this website, including sending spam through its forms, trying to break its security, overloading its tools or using automated scripts to scrape it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
Confidentiality
I keep your login details, business information and project files confidential and use them only to carry out the agreed work. Please change any passwords you shared once the project is finished.
Privacy
How I handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith; if it cannot be resolved, it will be handled by the competent courts of Pakistan, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page on the date you hire me applies to your project.
